Wildlife security: The importance of anti-poaching technology

Image source: Guardian.co.uk The past decades, for example, saw many territories in Africa trapped in armed conflict, and these wars have greatly affected the quality of life among animals. The African wildlife, known for its diversity, needs protection from illegal syndicates and their hired hunters. And to combat the decline of the animal population, many national parks have set up state-of-the-art technology that will keep track of the animals and their environment. Anti-poaching technology that involves real-time monitoring of animal locations and behaviors allows park rangers and scientists to detect potential threats.
